Installing Adjustable
System Step 1: Layout front and rear
pilaster on floor and attach slides as shown in Figures A and B. This applies
to pantry applications as well, instead of two sets of slides use three or
four spaced evenly. The Pilasters will be marked on the backside Indicating the front and
rear pilaster. You will need to note this since the pined holes on the slides
are offset. (Note: Full Extension Slides are NOT offset, it is
recommended that once you have full extension slides in desired location,
secure rear of slides to pilaster by bending over tab on slide and securing
with screw)
Step 2: Insert pilasters and
slides as shown in Figure C
Step 3: Make sure pilaster is
flush to sides and front inside of cabinet. Some cabinets may have small
staples in inside corners. Remove these for a better fit. Secure Pilaster
with screw as shown in Figure D. Secure opposite side with one screw and
insert drawer to check for proper fit. (Do not screw all pilasters in place
until you have checked fit) Some cabinets maybe out of square, it maybe
necessary to shim sides and bottom or remove some material from back of
pilaster is fit is too tight
Step 4: When desired fit is
achieved, remove shelf and secure all four pilasters Step 5: Attach supplied door
bumpers to drawer as shown in Figure E on the door side. These bumper keep from the slide marring the inside of the door.
Special Notes: Screws are supplied with
your order, however when working on a cabinet when the exterior wall is
exposed, be careful that the screws used are not too long and run thru the
side of the cabinet and become exposed on the outside. Most cabinets have a
¼” side wall, so check how far the screw supplied extends thru the
pilaster before screwing into the side wall on this type of application. Installing Adjustable
System in Base Cabinet with Center False Rail Step One: See “Removing Half
Shelf” if you have a half shelf that is permanently fixed under the
“How 2 Section of this website. Step Two: The Center Rail or False
rail is typically 3”-3.5” wide. The standard widths of the
Pilasters are 1.5” each. So they are easily mounted to the inside of
the false rail and are screwed from the backside.
Step Three: The outside pilasters are
mounted to the cabinet as describe in the above section steps 1-3. Step Four: The rear center pilasters
will be secured to the bottom of the cabinet (See Figure A Below) and one
support is recommended at the top (See Figure B Below)

support will be supplied if
Noted in the comment section when ordering) |
